After a rather tough play, Luminis's Ilie Dorlea got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Luminis's Ştefan Bărbuceanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nicodim Malcocea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Nicodim Malcocea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Bărbuceanu in the 9th minute of the match. Nicodim Malcocea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Drogoreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Ştefan Bărbuceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Malcocea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Bujoreni's Nicodim Malcocea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liviu Şiman in the 13th minute of play. 18 minutes into the game, Ştefan Bărbuceanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Nicodim Malcocea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 23rd match minute, Luminis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costel Brădescu to maneuver through the defense. Paul Târban fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Cârstoiu having to interfere. Nicodim Malcocea came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Luminis's Vintilă Drogoreanu. But to his dismay, Vintilă Drogoreanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Cornel Georgescu came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the FC Bujoreni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cornel Georgescu couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paul Târban made a kick off. Vintilă Drogoreanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Nicodim Malcocea made a huge save. Liviu Şiman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicodim Malcocea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vintilă Drogoreanu in the 59th minute. Luminis's Fabian Cârstoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandru Prisecaru in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Târban in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Cârstoiu saved Luminis from getting behind. If Cornel Georgescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute, Ilie Brad made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Cârstoiu. Luminis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabian Chiriac during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 73rd minute, Fabian Chiriac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Târban sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th match minute, FC Bujoreni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Buhoiu to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute, Sandu Timofte sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Bujoreni's Nicodim Malcocea didn't even have to move. If Paul Târban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Luminis's goalkeeper Fabian Cârstoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicodim Malcocea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ştefan Bărbuceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. FC Bujoreni's Nicodim Malcocea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save FC Bujoreni from getting a goal against them. After 89 played minutes Luminis got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Chiriac. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexandru Prisecaru in the 91st minute of play forced Luminis's goalkeeper Fabian Cârstoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Luminis's Ştefan Bărbuceanu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Nicodim Malcocea. That made the score 1-4 after 95 minutes of play.
