The Ciesti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcel Moga should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute Dumitru Plopeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Moga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Tudorache stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliodor Boieraș's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. When the final whistle sounded Honigberg left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ciesti.
