Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dan Bosioc started the match with the kick off. Unirea Podu Iloaiei's Cezar Calomfir got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Unirea Podu Iloaiei's goal looked a bit too open when Cornel Feteanu came free, but Virgil Barbălată reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 7 minutes into the match, Nicodim Șeimeanu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Viltotesti AFC's Eliodor Mărăscu. Eliodor Mărăscu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eliodor Mărăscu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Șeimeanu in the 16th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Viltotesti AFC's zone, Dan Bosioc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliodor Mărăscu came out of the goal and Dan Bosioc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emilian Zorlescu kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Cezar Calomfir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliodor Mărăscu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Unirea Podu Iloaiei's goal looked a bit too open when Marcu Frânculescu came free, but Virgil Barbălată reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viltotesti AFC were awarded a corner in the 27th minute after Unirea Podu Iloaiei's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Emilian Zorlescu took the corner. Dan Bosioc kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Virgil Barbălată made an important save on a dangerous shot by Denis Coraș in the 32nd minute. Nicodim Șeimeanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Eliodor Mărăscu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Viltotesti AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Unirea Podu Iloaiei were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcu Frânculescu to strike the kick off in the second half. Viltotesti AFC's Eliodor Mărăscu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Viltotesti AFC from getting a goal against them. Emilian Zorlescu's late challenge caught a Unirea Podu Iloaiei's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilian Zorlescu helped the player get up and apologised. After 59 played minutes Viltotesti AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emilian Zorlescu. After having played for 62 minutes, Iordache Focșa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unirea Podu Iloaiei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iordache Focșa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cezar Calomfir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliodor Mărăscu having to interfere. In the 65th match minute, Viltotesti AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Cozmâncă to maneuver through the defense. Dan Bosioc, 66 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Unirea Podu Iloaiei getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Ion Vulpe hit a great ball. Eliodor Mărăscu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicodim Șeimeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Dan Bosioc recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dan Bosioc hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Virgil Barbălată showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Coraș, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Viltotesti AFC's Edgar Ponor got a free kick in the 84th minute. Nicodim Șeimeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Călin Voica with Cezar Calomfir as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dan Bosioc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Eliodor Mărăscu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Viltotesti AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Unirea Podu Iloaiei's performance. The match ended with a win for Unirea Podu Iloaiei.
