After a rather tough play, Blitz Construct's David Susara got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Marian Humă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dorin Stoicea fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blitz Construct's protests and gave Dorin Stoicea a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cocoloco booed when Blitz Construct was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Stoicea didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cocoloco's Moisés Vasconcelos slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mugur Grecea. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. Mugur Grecea made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Frédson Arantes sent off a good shot on target. In the 16th match minute, Cocoloco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Fulga to maneuver through the defense. David Susara hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Blitz Construct defense, Iurie Fulga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mugur Grecea. The Blitz Construct fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mugur Grecea should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the game, Moisés Vasconcelos recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mugur Grecea. Moisés Vasconcelos showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iurie Fulga in the 25th minute of play forced Blitz Construct's goalkeeper Mugur Grecea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blitz Construct's defense didn't have a chance, in the 25th minute, when Iurie Fulga scored to the left of an out of position Mugur Grecea, making the score, 4-0. Mugur Grecea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Moisés Vasconcelos in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Cocoloco's Moisés Vasconcelos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-0. 36 minutes into the game, Cocoloco's Frédson Arantes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mugur Grecea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. With a little luck, Blitz Construct's Mugur Grecea got control of the ball when Codruț Vătavu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 43rd minute Moisés Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Grecea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Blitz Construct's goalkeeper Mugur Grecea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Moisés Vasconcelos. Mugur Grecea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Codruț Vătavu in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Blitz Construct's Mugur Grecea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frédson Arantes in the 72nd minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Blitz Construct's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Vătavu came free, but Mugur Grecea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andrei Dordea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cocoloco fully deserved thier win.
