Virgil Tărâţă started the match with the kick off. Martin Muntian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Zâncă having to interfere. Tudor Covataru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Maxim Zâncă read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Martin Muntian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Martin Muntian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maxim Zâncă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dragoş Feteanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, POMPIERII Bv.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Covataru came free, but Maxim Zâncă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AAMrFane booed when POMPIERII Bv. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eric Doman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute Martin Muntian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxim Zâncă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tudor Covataru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Covataru stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 58 minutes into the match, POMPIERII Bv.'s goalkeeper Maxim Zâncă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tudor Covataru. Iulian Buhuș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Doru Armanca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxim Zâncă was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Martin Muntian capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Martin Muntian really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. When Eric Doman was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 66 minutes had been played. In the 78th minute Iulian Buhuș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doru Armanca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damian Giurăscu charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
