Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Per-Åke Lindberg came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the RETRO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Per-Åke Lindberg couldn't finish the play. RETRO FC's Rafael Txatxu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Davidescu in the 6th minute of play. Cornel Lițu charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Lițu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 12 played minutes IULIA TEAM got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Lițu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Davidescu in the 15th minute of play forced RETRO FC's goalkeeper Rafael Txatxu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Lupșoiu made in the 16th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cornel Lițu immediately put the ball in play. In the 24th minute, RETRO FC's Eduard Racoviță ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aron Elian. Aron Elian yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, RETRO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iordache Dragota came free, but Rafael Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Eduard Racoviță reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aron Elian. The goal made the score 2-0. Petrică Muscă's late challenge caught a RETRO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Petrică Muscă helped the player get up and apologised. In the 37th match minute, IULIA TEAM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petrică Muscă to maneuver through the defense. Aron Elian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lento Phoenix in the 38th minute of play. Eduard Racoviță received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aron Elian came out and tried to block the shot, but Eduard Racoviță slotted it home off the left post making it 3-0 in the 42nd minute. Cornel Lițu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Gelu Davidescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. IULIA TEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Gelu Davidescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Txatxu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Eduard Racoviță made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of RETRO FC booed when IULIA TEAM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Martinaș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Calistrat Mereacre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aron Elian having to make a save. After having played for 55 minutes, Stelian Chiper managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. IULIA TEAM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stelian Chiper was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 59 played minutes RETRO FC got a freekick which was hit by Călin Pascu. Iordache Dragota blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Txatxu having to make a save. After 66 minutes, Fabian Şiman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RETRO FC and the IULIA TEAM players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of IULIA TEAM booed when RETRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Şiman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 67th minute, Iordache Dragota fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rafael Txatxu, passed just outside the right post. Iordache Dragota could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Rafael Txatxu made a huge save. 77 minutes into the match, RETRO FC's goalkeeper Rafael Txatxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iordache Dragota. Rafael Txatxu made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Gelu Davidescu sent off a good shot on target. After 79 minutes, George Cornoiu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RETRO FC and the IULIA TEAM players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of IULIA TEAM booed when RETRO FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. George Cornoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Iordache Dragota had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Viorel Daraban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, RETRO FC's Per-Åke Lindberg sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aron Elian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Lento Phoenix had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aron Elian. IULIA TEAM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lento Phoenix was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. With a little luck, RETRO FC's Rafael Txatxu got control of the ball when Gelu Davidescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. RETRO FC fully deserved thier win.
