Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emilian Tărău started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Borospatak SC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Maghear came free, but Kenny Rothwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Borospatak SC's Sergiu Bociort nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cazimir Marincean made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Valeriu Opaina hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, FC POLI TIMISOARA's goal looked a bit too open when Sergiu Bociort came free, but Cazimir Marincean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute, Sergiu Bociort made a precise shot to the right of Cazimir Marincean. FC POLI TIMISOARA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The Borospatak SC fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when Borospatak SC's Sergiu Bociort looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC POLI TIMISOARA's goalkeeper Cazimir Marincean, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 31 minutes into the match, Sandu Damian had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cazimir Marincean. FC POLI TIMISOARA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sandu Damian was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. After 35 played minutes FC POLI TIMISOARA got a freekick which was hit by Cazimir Săvescu. Sergiu Bociort recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Borospatak SC's Sandu Damian nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cazimir Marincean made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Sandu Damian took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cazimir Marincean. Cazimir Marincean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. A collision led to FC POLI TIMISOARA getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Manuel Culiță hit a great ball. Dragoş Boieru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-6 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sergiu Bociort was the one to do the kick off. After 55 played minutes Borospatak SC got a freekick which was hit by Valeriu Opaina. Borospatak SC's Kenny Rothwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albert Stelea in the 60th minute of play. In the 65th minute Sergiu Bociort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Marincean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cazimir Marincean made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Sandu Damian sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th minute Sergiu Bociort shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cazimir Marincean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cazimir Marincean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Bociort, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. 74 minutes into the game, Sergiu Bociort lined in a short shot 0-8 behind a frustrated Cazimir Marincean. Cazimir Marincean came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Borospatak SC's Sergiu Bociort. But to his dismay, Sergiu Bociort quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-9. In the 82nd minute, Sergiu Bociort hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FC POLI TIMISOARA's Cazimir Marincean proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save FC POLI TIMISOARA from getting a goal against them. Cazimir Marincean didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergiu Bociort went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. 90 minutes into the match, Borospatak SC's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Tărău came free, but Kenny Rothwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valeriu Opaina struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Cazimir Marincean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Borospatak SC. 94 minutes into the match, Borospatak SC's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandru Maghear came free, but Kenny Rothwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Borospatak SC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
