Cezar Geangu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glenn Burrell in the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute, Tudor Gavra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, CF Padureni's Sever Erbașu got control of the ball when Cătălin Blidaru tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Red Blue Lions-returns's zone, Andrei Rebengiuc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cezar Geangu came out of the goal and Andrei Rebengiuc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florin Cosor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Vintilă Mareș might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cezar Geangu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vintilă Mareș ran back to his position shaking his head. 35 minutes into the match, Andrei Rebengiuc had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cezar Geangu. Red Blue Lions-returns's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Andrei Rebengiuc was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Andrei Rebengiuc struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Cezar Geangu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CF Padureni. In the 41st minute, Andrei Rebengiuc got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the CF Padureni defense, Cătălin Blidaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sever Erbașu. The CF Padureni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sever Erbașu should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cătălin Blidaru in the 60th minute of play forced CF Padureni's goalkeeper Sever Erbașu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Narcis Sârbu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 85 played minutes, Red Blue Lions-returns's Tudor Gavra shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sever Erbașu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Red Blue Lions-returns reached it. With a little luck, Red Blue Lions-returns's Cezar Geangu got control of the ball when Sabin Potra tried to sneak it across the goal line.
