The crowd rose to their feet as Ciprian Macovescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Mihai Grozăvescu. That made the score 1-1 in the 12 minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match, Augustin Tătaru tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mihai Grozăvescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind MARITIME CLUB 2010's goalkeeper Mihai Grozăvescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Isac Amitroaiei came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the MARITIME CLUB 2010 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isac Amitroaiei couldn't finish the play. Isac Amitroaiei might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornel Cercelescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Isac Amitroaiei ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 25 minutes, Ciprian Macovescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fotbal Club Brasovia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciprian Macovescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Horia Dinescu hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. When Augustin Tătaru came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Fotbal Club Brasovia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Augustin Tătaru couldn't finish the play. Cornel Cercelescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iustinian Jerca in the 31st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isac Amitroaiei during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augustin Tătaru in the 40th minute of play forced MARITIME CLUB 2010's goalkeeper Mihai Grozăvescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Augustin Tătaru made the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Ciprian Macovescu sped through MARITIME CLUB 2010's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihai Grozăvescu.
