Sorin Horațiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frederik Diggele in the 15th minute of play. Sorin Horațiu made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Frederik Diggele sent off a good shot on target. Mihail Atanasiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ognyan Peshev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, one of FC ALEX JR:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 22nd minute Olimpic Sibiu were awarded a corner. Frederik Diggele went to the cornerflag to take it. Dacian Iordache tried in the game's 22nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Sorin Horațiu. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Ekelund in the 25th minute of play forced Olimpic Sibiu's goalkeeper Mihail Atanasiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The FC ALEX JR fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when FC ALEX JR's David Ekelund looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mihail Atanasiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some careless play in the Olimpic Sibiu defense, David Ekelund kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihail Atanasiu. The Olimpic Sibiu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihail Atanasiu should have stopped the shot. Sorin Horațiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Deșliu in the 33rd minute of the match. Mihail Atanasiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Ekelund, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. FC ALEX JR's Sorin Horațiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save FC ALEX JR from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in FC ALEX JR's zone, Ştefan Deșliu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sorin Horațiu came out of the goal and Ştefan Deșliu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sorin Horațiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Mirciu in the 56th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ognyan Peshev got free with Mihail Atanasiu in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Mihail Atanasiu managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when FC ALEX JR's Ognyan Peshev fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Olimpic Sibiu booed when FC ALEX JR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odysseas Kakarnakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC ALEX JR's goalkeeper Sorin Horațiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sorin Horațiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ştefan Deșliu in the 91st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Olimpic Sibiu's Mait Mäidu got a free kick in the 95th minute. Olimpic Sibiu were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC ALEX JR for a fine match.
