After having played for 3 minutes, Alexandru Ghionea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC GURZUN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandru Ghionea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 7th minute Edgar Florescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Suşu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, FC GURZUN's goal looked a bit too open when Petrică Podgoreanu came free, but Mugur Suşu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, FC GURZUN's Mugur Suşu got control of the ball when Konstanty Joks tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Florescu in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mugur Suşu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavius Iriza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costel Lăcătușu having to interfere. Mugur Suşu made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Liviu Găvănescu sent off a good shot on target. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Iustinian Găină was slow to take the kick. During this time FC GURZUN's players had a chance to rest. A hard shot 43 in the game by Konstanty Joks from a close distance when the talented Mugur Suşu managed to make a qualified save. FC GURZUN's players were relieved. Liviu Găvănescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Mugur Suşu made a huge save. If Konstanty Joks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Konstanty Joks made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Konstanty Joks notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of FC GURZUN's Mugur Suşu. Mugur Suşu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 56th match minute, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çetin Temizalp to maneuver through the defense. Mugur Suşu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Găvănescu in the 58th minute of the match. Edgar Florescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mugur Suşu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Edgar Florescu hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 68 played minutes PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN got a freekick which was hit by Edgar Florescu. After a rather tough play, FC GURZUN's Moise Cigu got a free kick in the 70th minute. Costel Lăcătușu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juliusz Zieba in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juliusz Zieba in the 74th minute of play forced PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's goalkeeper Costel Lăcătușu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 78 minutes into the match, PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN's goal looked a bit too open when Mihnea Tincu came free, but Costel Lăcătușu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costel Lăcătușu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juliusz Zieba, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. A collision led to PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Ernest Arbore hit a great ball. Mugur Suşu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Găvănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
