After 25 minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliodor Durbacă who took care of the corner kick. BlueLionesse's Eliodor Durbacă was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rosendo Seguinus in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gelu Lelescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Tomas Panpili made a huge save. 29 minutes into the match, BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Tomas Panpili had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eduard Semeghin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Udrişte in the 35th minute of play forced BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Tomas Panpili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corneliu Stănoiu's late challenge caught a ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corneliu Stănoiu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of ASF BAIA MARE -MM- booed when BlueLionesse was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Corneliu Stănoiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogdan Udrişte made a kick off. In the 56th minute Eduard Semeghin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Panpili saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Rosendo Seguinus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save ASF BAIA MARE -MM- from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduard Semeghin in the 59th minute of play forced BlueLionesse's goalkeeper Tomas Panpili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rosendo Seguinus made an important save on a dangerous shot by Traian Ursu in the 65th minute. BlueLionesse's Tomas Panpili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Udrişte in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute, Traian Ursu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The BlueLionesse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomas Panpili should have stopped the shot. Tomas Panpili made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduard Semeghin in the 78th minute of play. Tomas Panpili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gelu Lelescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After 81 minutes of play, ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Eduard Semeghin made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomas Panpili was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 91st minute, Gelu Lelescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. ASF BAIA MARE -MM- had played much better football throughout.
