Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) SuperDepor's Iustinian Comăneci started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 13 minutes into the match, SuperDepor's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Albulescu came free, but Radu Tarchilă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Soimusul AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stelian Pivniceru 14 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. After some careless play in the SuperDepor defense, Enrico Arias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Radu Tarchilă. The SuperDepor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Radu Tarchilă should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Gigi Otopeanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soimusul AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gigi Otopeanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Radu Tarchilă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gao Yan Zhen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stelian Pivniceru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gao Yan Zhen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Călin Bolborici in the 41st minute. SuperDepor were awarded a corner in the 43th minute after Soimusul AFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Stelian Pivniceru took the corner. SuperDepor's Stelian Pivniceru was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gao Yan Zhen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 45 minutes into the match, SuperDepor's Stelian Pivniceru sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gao Yan Zhen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Călin Bolborici sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute, Virgil Măgurean hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gao Yan Zhen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iustinian Comăneci in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Calistrat Albu got free with Radu Tarchilă in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. SuperDepor's Radu Tarchilă proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save SuperDepor from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonard Hirean in the 71st minute of play forced Soimusul AFC's goalkeeper Gao Yan Zhen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Soimusul AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristián Săpunaru came free, but Gao Yan Zhen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Albu in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Radu Tarchilă, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gao Yan Zhen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stelian Pivniceru in the 80th minute of the match. Soimusul AFC's Gao Yan Zhen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Comăneci in the 83rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristián Săpunaru in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gao Yan Zhen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calistrat Albu in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Radu Tarchilă, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Stelian Pivniceru kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. After 92 played minutes SuperDepor got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Pivniceru. In the 93rd minute, SuperDepor's Sabin Săvulescu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Sabin Săvulescu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SuperDepor protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Sabin Săvulescu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Gigi Otopeanu shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Soimusul AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
