The coaching staff of Dziungles protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Modestas Vaitiekaitis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 19th minute, one of Dziungles:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dziungles. Giedrius Kiela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Raimundas Damaševicius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinaras Nausėda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eligijus Karalius in the 38th minute of play forced Dziungles's goalkeeper Raimundas Damaševicius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Eligijus Karalius made a precise shot to the right of Raimundas Damaševicius. Dziungles's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Eligijus Karalius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundas Damaševicius having to interfere. After the first half Galvydiske were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eligijus Karalius made a kick off. If Giedrius Kiela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Giedrius Kiela managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galvydiske's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giedrius Kiela was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dangiras Norkevičius recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Dziungles's goal looked a bit too open when Eligijus Karalius came free, but Raimundas Damaševicius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eligijus Karalius received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Raimundas Damaševicius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dziungles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Raimundas Damaševicius, was totally fooled by Galvydiske's Tomas Antanaitis, who 81 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 86th minute, Arvydas Ainis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dziungles's Raimundas Damaševicius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Dziungles from getting a goal against them. After having played for 90 minutes, Dangiras Norkevičius managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dziungles's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dangiras Norkevičius was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Giedrius Kiela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Galvydiske's zone, Dangiras Norkevičius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfas Nakčiunas came out of the goal and Dangiras Norkevičius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Galvydiske could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Dziungles throughout the match.
