Tautvydas Bartulis charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tautvydas Bartulis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Gindviliu getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Tautvydas Bartulis hit a great ball. After 7 played minutes FC Gindviliu got a freekick which was hit by Algirdas Kasiulis. In the 10thth minute of the game Romualdas Narkys who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Gindviliu's Pranas Barzdžius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute, Feliksas Pelėda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eduardas Stasiulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute, FC Gindviliu's Eduardas Stasiulis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Aurelijus Rimša made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Eduardas Stasiulis sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of FK Labaratorija booed when FC Gindviliu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Motiejus Jakavičius didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, FK Labaratorija's Rūtenis Matulaitis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Eduardas Stasiulis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelijus Rimša was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. FK Labaratorija's Aurelijus Rimša proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save FK Labaratorija from getting a goal against them. Motiejus Jakavičius kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Gindviliu's Ramūnas Šaulys got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Benediktas Tamašauskis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romualdas Narkys recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benediktas Tamašauskis was the one to do the kick off. FK Labaratorija's Benediktas Tamašauskis got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Eduardas Stasiulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Gindviliu's goalkeeper Pranas Barzdžius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute, Algirdas Kasiulis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Romualdas Narkys got free with Pranas Barzdžius in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romualdas Narkys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to FK Labaratorija getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Laimutis Lemežis hit a great ball. Eduardas Stasiulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelijus Rimša having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Benediktas Tamašauskis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pranas Barzdžius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduardas Stasiulis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Aurelijus Rimša tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eduardas Stasiulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th match minute, FK Labaratorija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Deividas Kalakauskas to maneuver through the defense. Pranas Barzdžius made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Romualdas Narkys sent off a good shot on target. In the 96th minute, Romualdas Narkys fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. FC Gindviliu's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
