The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Vitoldas Dargužas fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC ARKOS's protests and gave Vitoldas Dargužas a yellow card for diving instead. Vitoldas Dargužas kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, FC ARKOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Margiris Puidokas to maneuver through the defense. FK Labaratorija were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after FC ARKOS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Rūtenis Matulaitis took the corner. With 11 minutes on the clock, Laimutis Lemežis commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 12th match minute, FK Labaratorija was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laimutis Lemežis to maneuver through the defense. Aurelijus Rimša showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bronius Vaškys in the 13th minute of the match. Aivaras Dakanis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Romualdas Narkys in the 14th minute. Gintautas Svetulevičius charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gintautas Svetulevičius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 31 minutes into the game, one of FC ARKOS:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Augustas Gabrielaitis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Aurelijus Rimša tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustas Gabrielaitis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelijus Rimša showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bronius Vaškys, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romualdas Narkys to strike the kick off in the second half. Bronius Vaškys fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurelijus Rimša having to interfere. A very good chance. Aurelijus Rimša showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Augustas Gabrielaitis in the 77th minute of the match. Augustas Gabrielaitis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurelijus Rimša read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. 80 minutes into the match, FK Labaratorija's goal looked a bit too open when Augustas Gabrielaitis came free, but Aurelijus Rimša reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bronius Vaškys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gintautas Svetulevičius hit a great ball. Jokūbas Bagavičius hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. FC ARKOS's Aivaras Dakanis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romualdas Narkys in the 93rd minute of play. The FK Labaratorija supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC ARKOS's performance. The match ended with a win for FC ARKOS.
