If Augustas Gabrielaitis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bronius Vaškys in the 25th minute of play forced FC Gindviliu's goalkeeper Pranas Barzdžius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Augustas Gabrielaitis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pranas Barzdžius was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 41st match minute, FC Gindviliu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kastytis Kuliešius to maneuver through the defense. Aivaras Dakanis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eduardas Stasiulis in the 44th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC ARKOS's Margiris Puidokas got a free kick in the 47th minute. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Augustas Gabrielaitis to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Eduardas Stasiulis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC ARKOS's Aivaras Dakanis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eduardas Stasiulis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aivaras Dakanis having to interfere. When Bronius Vaškys fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC ARKOS's protests and gave Bronius Vaškys a yellow card for diving instead. If Eduardas Stasiulis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Despite being the better team, FC ARKOS failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
