In the 3rd play minute Aurelijus Jakštys came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kajus Balvočius. 1-0. Vidmantas Švambaris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldas Badauskas in the 11th minute of play. Vidmantas Švambaris showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldas Badauskas, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. After 18 played minutes FK Stariske got a freekick which was hit by Audrius Aleknius. Aurelijus Jakštyss short, quick shot in the 20thth minute got Kajus Balvočius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 20th match minute, FK Stariske was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klemensas Kuliešius to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th match minute, FK Stariske was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldas Badauskas to maneuver through the defense. After 27 minutes, Vaidas Balaišis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Stariske and the VIESULAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zenonas Dapšas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelijus Jakštys in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kajus Balvočius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zenonas Dapšas succeeded in the game's 55th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. Kajus Balvočius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenonas Dapšas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erikas Barasa kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. When Erikas Barasa fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VIESULAS's protests and gave Erikas Barasa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, VIESULAS's Erikas Barasa got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of FK Stariske booed when VIESULAS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ugnius Matulas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in VIESULAS's zone, Aldas Badauskas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vidmantas Švambaris came out of the goal and Aldas Badauskas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 71 minutes into the match, FK Stariske's Aldas Badauskas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vidmantas Švambaris narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aldas Badauskas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vidmantas Švambaris having to interfere. In the 75th minute of the match, Klemensas Kuliešius tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vidmantas Švambaris saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 80th minute, Zenonas Dapšas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kajus Balvočius was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. When Aurelijus Jakštys came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the VIESULAS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurelijus Jakštys couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK Stariske's goalkeeper Kajus Balvočius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to FK Stariske getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Audrius Aleknius hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurelijus Jakštys in the 87th minute of play forced FK Stariske's goalkeeper Kajus Balvočius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FK Stariske's zone, Aurelijus Jakštys stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kajus Balvočius came out of the goal and Aurelijus Jakštys tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kajus Balvočius stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zenonas Dapšas's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. Kajus Balvočius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zenonas Dapšas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 94th match minute, FK Stariske was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Klemensas Kuliešius to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the FK Stariske players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for VIESULAS.
