Laurynas Pakalnis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Martynas Mečius made a huge save. Agnius Abakas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonas Tamošaitis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Balninkai's Marian Chludzinski managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Pranas Mendelis in the 21 minute of the game. Aurelijus Leonavičius charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aurelijus Leonavičius the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aurelijus Leonavičius hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Tomas Kaučikas managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Balninkai's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Kaučikas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martynas Mečius was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Elliott Valrot capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Elliott Valrot really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Rapolas Didžiulis kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Elliott Valrot hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. A collision led to Lapes getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Astijus Pužauskas hit a great ball. If Elliott Valrot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomas Kaučikas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 57 minutes into the game, Pranas Mendelis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lapes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Balninkai the free kick. After 57 played minutes Lapes got a freekick which was hit by Pranas Mendelis. Bronius Prakapas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Astijus Pužauskas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Agnius Abakas made a huge save. In the 61st minute, Rupertas Maneikis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 minutes, Leonas Tamošaitis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lapes and the FC Balninkai players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 63 played minutes Lapes got a freekick which was hit by Leonas Tamošaitis. Martynas Mečius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Kaučikas in the 65th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Astijus Pužauskas got free with Agnius Abakas in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 68 minutes into the match, Bronius Prakapas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martynas Mečius. Lapes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bronius Prakapas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 72nd minute, Antanas Bulzgis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th match minute, FC Balninkai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raimondas Žalys to maneuver through the defense. Pranas Mendelis hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After 81 played minutes FC Balninkai got a freekick which was hit by Raimondas Žalys. If Aurelijus Leonavičius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th match minute, FC Balninkai was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rupertas Maneikis to maneuver through the defense. Elliott Valrot might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Martynas Mečius. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elliott Valrot ran back to his position shaking his head. Elliott Valrot took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martynas Mečius. Martynas Mečius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. FC Balninkai's Agnius Abakas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jokūbas Saunorius in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The FC Balninkai fans cheered their team off the field, for while Lapes had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
