Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 4 minutes into the game, FC Akmenes Skaudučiai's Dorin Bădescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ričardas Opulskis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ričardas Opulskis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Bădescu in the 12th minute of the match. Vakaris Jurkus hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Konstantinas Daukaitis hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Vaidotas Burkys took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ričardas Opulskis. Ričardas Opulskis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 27th minute Augustas Andrulis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustinas Andriušaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 29 minutes, Dovydas Dargvainis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Akmenes Skaudučiai and the FC RIM&SON players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 29th minute, Dovydas Dargvainis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustas Andrulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of FC Akmenes Skaudučiai booed when FC RIM&SON was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustas Andrulis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ričardas Opulskis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vaidotas Burkys's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After having played for 40 minutes, Vaidotas Burkys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Akmenes Skaudučiai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vaidotas Burkys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half FC Akmenes Skaudučiai were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

FC RIM&SON's Augustas Andrulis got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vakaris Jurkus struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Augustinas Andriušaitis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC RIM&SON. FC RIM&SON's Ričardas Opulskis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save FC RIM&SON from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute Vakaris Jurkus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augustinas Andriušaitis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ričardas Opulskis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vaidotas Burkys in the 64th minute of play. FC RIM&SON's Ričardas Opulskis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vaidotas Burkys in the 72nd minute of play. When Vilius Milašauskas fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC RIM&SON's protests and gave Vilius Milašauskas a yellow card for diving instead. After 74 played minutes FC RIM&SON got a freekick which was hit by Vilius Milašauskas. After 79 minutes, Vaidotas Burkys made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. FC RIM&SON's Ričardas Opulskis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Anibal Hodei cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ričardas Opulskis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Dorin Bădescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vakaris Jurkus hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Aloyzas Dambys sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The FC RIM&SON fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. FC Akmenes Skaudučiai were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
