Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cyrus Musyoka got the match started through his kick off. Kevin Ogot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joe Murunga in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th play minute Joe Murunga came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Kevin Ogot. 1-0. Peter Sang charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Peter Sang the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 10th minute, one of tusker fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for tusker fc. Cyrus Wamalwa went to the wrong direction when Dedan Wangila was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Sammy Waheto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joe Murunga in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kevin Ogot saved Crewe United from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Wilson Lagat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Crewe United's supporters rose to their feet, but Wilson Lagat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cyrus Wamalwa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kevin Ogot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joe Murunga's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Githinji Akoth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cyrus Wamalwa having to interfere. Crewe United's Githinji Akoth got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. tusker fc's Cyrus Wamalwa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilson Lagat in the 38th minute of play. Sammy Waheto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Ogot having to interfere. When Joe Murunga came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the tusker fc fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joe Murunga couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joe Murunga to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to tusker fc getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Sammy Waheto hit a great ball. If Wilson Lagat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Githinji Akoth struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Cyrus Wamalwa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crewe United. Githinji Akoth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Cyrus Wamalwa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Lagat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wilson Lagat got free with Cyrus Wamalwa in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to tusker fc getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Joshua Tanui hit a great ball. Sammy Waheto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kevin Ogot having to interfere. Githinji Akoth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the tusker fc defense, Ismael Kanana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cyrus Wamalwa. The tusker fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cyrus Wamalwa should have stopped the shot. Wilson Chuma Uche kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sammy Waheto in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kevin Ogot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to tusker fc getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Joshua Tanui hit a great ball.
