Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jehovah Sitienei took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Naftali Kiptanui was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Neen Sollars's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Timsbury the free kick. The supporters of Timsbury booed when Neen Sollars was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naftali Kiptanui didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erick Maiyo hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Jehovah Sitienei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Neen Sollars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jehovah Sitienei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Timsbury fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Naftali Kiptanui took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilfred Waheto. Wilfred Waheto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Naftali Kiptanui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jehovah Sitienei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Wilfred Waheto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Neen Sollars's zone, Siaree Nzeki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fazul Songok came out of the goal and Siaree Nzeki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edwin Maathai charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edwin Maathai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Neen Sollars's Edwin Maathai got a free kick in the 41st minute. Wilson Mbindyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Timsbury players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Neen Sollars were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilson Mbindyo made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Timsbury's goal looked a bit too open when Jehovah Sitienei came free, but Wilfred Waheto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wilfred Waheto came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Neen Sollars's Naftali Kiptanui. But to his dismay, Naftali Kiptanui quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. William Keino kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Kagai Kariuki hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Wilfred Waheto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Naftali Kiptanui in the 77th minute. After 78 played minutes Neen Sollars got a freekick which was hit by Erick Maiyo. After a defensive mix-up in Neen Sollars's zone, Siaree Nzeki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fazul Songok came out of the goal and Siaree Nzeki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 91 minutes into the match, Wilson Mbindyo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Neen Sollars's Fazul Songok. Fazul Songok was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jehovah Sitienei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Neen Sollars players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
