Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wilson Mbindyo started the match with the kick off. Sandhurst's Pius Salim Swedan got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Timsbury's Siaree Nzeki got a free kick in the 12th minute. Siaree Nzeki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Mosop having to interfere. Wilfred Waheto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pius Salim Swedan in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Siaree Nzeki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Timsbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siaree Nzeki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute Wilson Mbindyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Mosop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Siaree Nzeki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paul Mosop showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sandhurst's Moses Koskei pulled a muscle in his leg after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 33 played minutes Timsbury got a freekick which was hit by Omar Sande. In the 35th minute, Wilson Waruinge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Wilfred Waheto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Waruinge in the 38th minute of the match. Timsbury's Kagai Kariuki got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wilson Mbindyo in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paul Mosop prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilson Waruinge stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Timsbury's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Walter Omosh in the 55th minute. In the 59th minute Siaree Nzeki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Mosop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Sandhurst's goal looked a bit too open when Wilson Mbindyo came free, but Paul Mosop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 62 minutes, Wilson Mbindyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paul Mosop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siaree Nzeki, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Wilson Mbindyo notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Sandhurst's Paul Mosop. Paul Mosop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wilson Mbindyo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Paul Mosop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Timsbury had won after a very even match.
