Brighton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayswater the free kick. Bayswater's Ali Waruinge was substituted for Christopher Kariuki. In the 10th minute, David Kagai Nyambura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. George Wanjiru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Wilson Uche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Brighton's goal looked a bit too open when George Wanjiru came free, but Wilson Uche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Bayswater booed when Brighton was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wangari Muta Kimutai didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilson Uche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Wanjiru in the 23rd minute of play. Wilson Uche took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Wanjiru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jeruto Muttendago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from James Chepkemei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brighton's goalkeeper Wilson Uche, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. George Wanjiru took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Uche. Wilson Uche dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After a rather tough play, Brighton's David Kagai Nyambura got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 46th minute George Wanjiru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Uche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 46 minutes into the game, James Chepkemei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brighton's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bayswater the free kick. After 46 played minutes Brighton got a freekick which was hit by James Chepkemei. The Brighton players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bayswater were winning 0-2.

George Wanjiru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Uche having to interfere. Wilson Uche stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mike Waweru's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Brighton's defense didn't have a chance, in the 58th minute, when George Wanjiru scored to the left of an out of position Wilson Uche, making the score, 0-3. After a rather tough play, Bayswater's Ali Waruinge got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Wilson Uche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Wanjiru, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Francis Maina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayswater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francis Maina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pascal Omar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 72nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wilson Uche. Brighton's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Wilson Uche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Wanjiru in the 74th minute of play. If George Wanjiru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Brighton getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. David Kagai Nyambura hit a great ball. Wilson Uche showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Wanjiru, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Hassan Waroo's late challenge caught a Bayswater's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hassan Waroo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Brighton getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Hassan Waroo hit a great ball. After 83 minutes of play Brighton's James Chepkemei was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. James Chepkemei kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. George Wanjiru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Uche having to interfere. In the 90th minute, Deepak Lukoye got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 92 minutes, Wilson Uche successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
