Jomo Leakey took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jeruto Muttendago. Jeruto Muttendago dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 19th minute, Samson Kiptanui ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeruto Muttendago was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 28 minutes into the match, Bayswater's goal looked a bit too open when Jomo Leakey came free, but Jeruto Muttendago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeruto Muttendago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Koech, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. A collision led to Bayswater getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Ali Waruinge hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Jeruto Muttendago made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Koech in the 52nd minute. After having played for 55 minutes, Mike Waweru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bayswater's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mike Waweru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th match minute, Bayswater was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Kariuki to maneuver through the defense. When Botswana Meat Commission's Tom Kipkoech in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 81 played minutes Bayswater got a freekick which was hit by Mike Waweru. 89 minutes into the match, Bayswater's goal looked a bit too open when Samson Kiptanui came free, but Jeruto Muttendago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Oburu Kiprop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from George Wanjiru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Botswana Meat Commission left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Bayswater.
