Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Philip Oundo made the kick off which started today's match. Kipchoge Oloo in the 5thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Wilson Chuma Akinyi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Kipchoge Oloo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Wilson Chuma Akinyi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8 minutes, Wangui Ngolepus mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lymm City and the Settle players grew even worse after the yellow card. Wangui Ngolepus kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ezekiel Ntalami during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Lymm City's Ezekiel Ntalami got a free kick in the 10th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Lymm City's Edwin Pinches sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hezekiah Java narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lymm City's Wilson Chuma Akinyi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Oundo in the 30th minute of play. Settle's Philip Oundo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 36th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Settle's Hezekiah Java played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Keter in the 41st minute of play. Cyrus Otieno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hezekiah Java read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Lymm City's Edwin Pinches nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hezekiah Java made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

A collision led to Lymm City getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Paul Keter hit a great ball. If Paul Keter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cyrus Otieno in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hezekiah Java saved Settle from getting behind. Julius Leakey hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Settle's Hezekiah Java got control of the ball when Edwin Pinches tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Settle's zone, Edwin Pinches stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hezekiah Java came out of the goal and Edwin Pinches tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Settle booed when Lymm City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wangui Ngolepus didn't get a good kick on the ball. Julius Leakey was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 66th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philip Oundo in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Wilson Chuma Akinyi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kipchoge Oloo struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Wilson Chuma Akinyi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Settle. In the 78th minute Kipchoge Oloo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Chuma Akinyi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Settle's Hezekiah Java got control of the ball when Edwin Pinches tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Cyrus Otieno had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cyrus Otieno came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Lymm City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cyrus Otieno couldn't finish the play. Wilson Chuma Akinyi came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Settle's Kipchoge Oloo. But to his dismay, Kipchoge Oloo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Wilson Chuma Akinyi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kipchoge Oloo in the 93rd minute of play. Wilfred Matiba took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilson Chuma Akinyi. Wilson Chuma Akinyi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lymm City players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Settle.
