Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Akis Kotsovolos started the match with the kick off. In the 8thth minute of the game Paris Moras who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pondoiraklia's Theofilos Bezas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dimitris Papadaskalopoulos in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eutichios Taralidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Akis Kotsovolos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Theofilos Bezas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tolis Mitsopoulos got free with Eutichios Taralidis in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, Pondoiraklia's goal looked a bit too open when Akis Kotsovolos came free, but Theofilos Bezas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After recieving a nice pass, Kardαmyla BC's Vlassis Bouzios tried to score from far away in the 31st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Paris Moras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Theofilos Bezas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Akis Kotsovolos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pondoiraklia's Theofilos Bezas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Akis Kotsovolos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofilos Bezas having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The audience was convinced that Tolis Mitsopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eutichios Taralidis was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 56 minutes into the game, Christos Eleftherakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kardαmyla BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pondoiraklia the free kick. In the 56th minute, Christos Eleftherakis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Theofilos Bezas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paris Moras in the 58th minute. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Paris Moras got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Akis Kotsovolos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kardαmyla BC's Konstantinos Kalfopoulos pulled a muscle in his leg after 66 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Andreas Dimas charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Dimas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 67th match minute, Pondoiraklia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andreas Dimas to maneuver through the defense. Dimitris Papadaskalopoulos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eutichios Taralidis having to interfere. Eutichios Taralidis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dimitris Papadaskalopoulos in the 73rd minute of play. If Paris Moras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kardαmyla BC's Koulis Siapkas suffered a sore thigh after 76 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 76 minutes, Thodoris Stathas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pondoiraklia and the Kardαmyla BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thodoris Stathas hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match.
