The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Aggelos Moraitidis made a precise shot to the right of Thrasivoulos Kopanidis. Kalivia Soudheniotika BC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Themistoklis Kounenakis during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Kalivia Soudheniotika BC booed when Roϊson FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Themistoklis Kounenakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Kalivia Soudheniotika BC's Alekos Missiakos got a free kick in the 8th minute. When Roϊson FC's Themistoklis Kounenakis in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Thrasivoulos Kopanidis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Timos Georgakopoulos came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Kalivia Soudheniotika BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timos Georgakopoulos couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute Alekos Missiakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fanis Charos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Themistoklis Kounenakis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 26th minute. Roϊson FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Alekos Missiakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fanis Charos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alekos Missiakos ran back to his position shaking his head. Thrasivoulos Kopanidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Themistoklis Kounenakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th minute, Roϊson FC's Themistoklis Kounenakis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. 45 minutes into the game, Alketas Katsikopodaros was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kalivia Soudheniotika BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roϊson FC the free kick. After 45 played minutes Kalivia Soudheniotika BC got a freekick which was hit by Alketas Katsikopodaros.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Timos Georgakopoulos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Alekos Missiakos made a precise shot to the right of Fanis Charos. Roϊson FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Roϊson FC's Konstantinos Kechagioglou got a free kick in the 54th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Alekos Missiakos could shoot a difficult shot in the 70th minute, which Fanis Charos however easily saved by the left post. Fanis Charos was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Theodosis Kalketenidis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Timos Georgakopoulos in the 83rd minute of play forced Roϊson FC's goalkeeper Fanis Charos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kalivia Soudheniotika BC were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after Roϊson FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Theodosis Kalketenidis took the corner. Alekos Missiakos might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fanis Charos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alekos Missiakos ran back to his position shaking his head. 87 minutes into the match, Kalivia Soudheniotika BC's Alekos Missiakos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fanis Charos narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fanis Charos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timos Georgakopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Alekos Missiakos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Fanis Charos made a huge save. Timos Georgakopoulos might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fanis Charos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
