An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Papadatos in the 4th minute of play forced LATZIO FC's goalkeeper Stergios Pathiakakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Verdikoussa's goal looked a bit too open when Thalis Prasomouris came free, but Sakis Bourousis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 9 minutes, Thalis Prasomouris made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Verdikoussa's Sakis Bourousis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When LATZIO FC's Thalis Prasomouris in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. If Thalis Prasomouris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Petros Patistas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Sakis Bourousis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sakis Bourousis didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when LATZIO FC's Thalis Prasomouris shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-3 in the ordered_time% minute.

53 minutes into the match, Thalis Prasomouris dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sakis Bourousis, 0-4. Stergios Pathiakakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prodromos Papazoglou in the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Verdikoussa's zone, Thalis Prasomouris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sakis Bourousis came out of the goal and Thalis Prasomouris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, LATZIO FC's Lakis Labrakis got a free kick in the 80th minute. Sakis Bourousis was a little too slow when Kostas Roussounelos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-5. When Dimitris Papadatos fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Verdikoussa's protests and gave Dimitris Papadatos a yellow card for diving instead. 91 minutes into the game, Vaggelis Vidas recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sakis Bourousis. Vaggelis Vidas showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. The audience was convinced that Marinos Kornelakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stergios Pathiakakis was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. When the match was over LATZIO FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Verdikoussa throughout the match.
