Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kosmas Manikas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Prodromos Papazoglou who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 3rdth minute tested the skills of Iraklis Kakarnakis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Prodromos Papazoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Prodromos Papazoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraklis Kakarnakis having to interfere. Prodromos Papazoglou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Iraklis Kakarnakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prodromos Papazoglou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 14th minute Dimitris Papadatos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraklis Kakarnakis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prodromos Papazoglou could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Iraklis Kakarnakis made a huge save. 19 minutes into the game, Minas Valkanis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Verdikoussa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pelasgiotida the free kick. After 23 minutes of play, Verdikoussa's Dimitris Papadatos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iraklis Kakarnakis was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sakis Bourousis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fivos Raptis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Pelasgiotida's Iraklis Kakarnakis got control of the ball when Prodromos Papazoglou tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Verdikoussa's Prodromos Papazoglou got a free kick in the 30th minute. 34 minutes into the match, Verdikoussa's goal looked a bit too open when Fivos Raptis came free, but Sakis Bourousis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Minas Valkanis was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 35 minutes had been played. In the 36th match minute, Verdikoussa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Minas Valkanis to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Prodromos Papazoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdikoussa's supporters rose to their feet, but Prodromos Papazoglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iraklis Kakarnakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Dimitris Kikidakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Verdikoussa's supporters rose to their feet, but Dimitris Kikidakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iraklis Kakarnakis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 47 minutes into the game, Verdikoussa's Prodromos Papazoglou nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iraklis Kakarnakis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Fivos Raptis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iraklis Kakarnakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prodromos Papazoglou in the 61st minute of play. Verdikoussa's Prodromos Papazoglou got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Dimitris Kikidakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Kosmas Manikas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Prodromos Papazoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 77 minutes into the game, Prodromos Papazoglou cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Iraklis Kakarnakis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iraklis Kakarnakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Prodromos Papazoglou went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. When Prodromos Papazoglou came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Verdikoussa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prodromos Papazoglou couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pelasgiotida's goalkeeper Iraklis Kakarnakis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Prodromos Papazoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Vassilis Staboulis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Verdikoussa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
