The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fondas Konstantinou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ntinos Podaras in the 15th minute of play. The referee ignored Lárisa BC's protests and gave Ntinos Podaras a yellow card for diving instead. After 37 played minutes Mαkres BC got a freekick which was hit by Kleanthis Stefanidis. In the 37th minute of the match Sotiris Moschogiannis sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fondas Konstantinou skillfully saved the ball. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ermis Vrachnos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. The Mαkres BC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Lárisa BC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
