Giotis Parginos hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paris Theofilopoulos got free with Stathis Voulgarelis in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Christos Sapounidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Charis Vlastaridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Periklis Lechritis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Charis Vlastaridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Periklis Lechritis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charis Vlastaridis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pilorik BC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vlassis Rorris was slow to take the kick. During this time Vlakhσrion BC's players had a chance to rest. Vlakhσrion BC's Vlassis Rorris was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Periklis Lechritis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Christos Sapounidis blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Periklis Lechritis having to make a save. Periklis Lechritis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Sapounidis in the 37th minute of the match. In the 40th minute Christos Sapounidis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Periklis Lechritis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paris Theofilopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Stathis Voulgarelis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Christos Sapounidis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Periklis Lechritis was relentless in the 46th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christos Sapounidis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an all-out effort, Vlakhσrion BC's Periklis Lechritis threw himself towards the right post 55 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Christos Sapounidis, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Pilorik BC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Nikitas Bourboulithras hit a great ball. Periklis Lechritis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Sapounidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Charis Vlastaridis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Periklis Lechritis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. The supporters of Pilorik BC booed when Vlakhσrion BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionysis Papadakos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paris Theofilopoulos struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Stathis Voulgarelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilorik BC. Christos Sapounidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Periklis Lechritis having to interfere. Charis Vlastaridis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Christos Sapounidis came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Vlakhσrion BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christos Sapounidis couldn't finish the play. Charis Vlastaridis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Periklis Lechritis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pilorik BC's Ermis Papoutsatos got a free kick in the 76th minute. Periklis Lechritis made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Charis Vlastaridis sent off a good shot on target. Christos Sapounidis scored 0-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Periklis Lechritis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Stathis Voulgarelis came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Pilorik BC's Paris Theofilopoulos. But to his dismay, Paris Theofilopoulos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pilorik BC's goalkeeper Periklis Lechritis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pilorik BC's Ermis Papoutsatos got a free kick in the 95th minute. Pilorik BC's Periklis Lechritis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Christos Sapounidis in the 96th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
