In the 10th match minute, TOPMUG-ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΥΡΟΥ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aris Xidas to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Themis Psomiadis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kostas Koutsoudakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ignatios Ritsos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofilos Tsebelis having to interfere. Faneroméni BC's Theofilos Tsebelis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ignatios Ritsos in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Ignatios Ritsos fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kostas Koutsoudakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Themis Psomiadis in the 24th minute of play. After 30 played minutes TOPMUG-ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΥΡΟΥ got a freekick which was hit by Giannis Telakos. The Faneroméni BC fans' excitement grew in the 32nd match minute when Faneroméni BC's Themis Psomiadis looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When Vrasidas Simos fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Faneroméni BC's protests and gave Vrasidas Simos a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of TOPMUG-ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΥΡΟΥ booed when Faneroméni BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thanos Kazakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Faneroméni BC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Themis Psomiadis made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ignatios Ritsos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute, Themis Psomiadis fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. A collision led to TOPMUG-ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΥΡΟΥ getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Charis Karagiannis hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Giannis Telakos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Theofilos Tsebelis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Panos Koralis charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Panos Koralis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Faneroméni BC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Ignatios Ritsos scored 2-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Theofilos Tsebelis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giannis Sapounidis struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Theofilos Tsebelis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TOPMUG-ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΥΡΟΥ. TOPMUG-ΚΕΡΑΥΝΟΣ ΣΥΡΟΥ's Giannis Sapounidis got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ignatios Ritsos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theofilos Tsebelis having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
