Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Marios Papageorgas made the kick off which started today's match. Argyris Katsarolidis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 2nd minute of the match, but Thalis Xinos made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paschalis Koupepes in the 6th minute of play forced Piyι BC's goalkeeper Theagenis Serifis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Piyι BC's zone, Markos Sioufas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Theagenis Serifis came out of the goal and Markos Sioufas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Piyι BC's Anastasios Sissovitis broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Opayia's zone, Argyris Katsarolidis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thalis Xinos came out of the goal and Argyris Katsarolidis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marios Papageorgas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thalis Xinos having to interfere. In the 20th match minute, Opayia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Makis Persidis to maneuver through the defense. Marios Papageorgas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thalis Xinos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Markos Sioufas in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theagenis Serifis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Makis Persidis hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Argyris Katsarolidis scored 1-0 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Thalis Xinos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Paschalis Koupepes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Theagenis Serifis having to make a save. Markos Sioufas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Theagenis Serifis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Markos Sioufas made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Paschalis Koupepes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Theagenis Serifis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 54 minutes into the match, Paschalis Koupepes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theagenis Serifis. Piyι BC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paschalis Koupepes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to Opayia getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Paschalis Koupepes hit a great ball. Theagenis Serifis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Markos Sioufas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Iordanis Gazis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Takis Simos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Markos Sioufas sped through Piyι BC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Theagenis Serifis. 84 minutes into the game, Markos Sioufas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Opayia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Piyι BC the free kick. In the 84th match minute, Opayia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Markos Sioufas to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes, Charalambos Ververis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Opayia and the Piyι BC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 85th minute, one of Opayia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Opayia. In the 87th minute there was a penalty for Piyι BC. Anastasios Sissovitis stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thalis Xinos. 2-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marios Papageorgas in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thalis Xinos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Piyι BC's Argyris Katsarolidis got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
