Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fragiskos Paramithis started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, Pyrgi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nektarios Lilis to maneuver through the defense. Michalis Katevatis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fragiskos Paramithis in the 6th minute of the match. Panos Pavlatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Michalis Katevatis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match, Anthimos Fotakoglou got a very nice opportunity to score, but Thanos Pantazoulis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a rather tough play, Pyrgi FC's Stamatis Patsatzoglou got a free kick in the 28th minute. Kostas Kagiorgis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 29th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Thanos Pantazoulis. Pyrgi FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The supporters of Klió FC booed when Pyrgi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Panagiotis Katselis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christos Zinas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanos Pantazoulis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Christos Zinas had several of the Pyrgi FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Thanos Pantazoulis as he didn't even see the shot coming. Michalis Katevatis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fragiskos Paramithis in the 36th minute of the match. In the 41stth minute of the game Christos Zinas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pyrgi FC's Thanos Pantazoulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Christos Zinas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Pyrgi FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Michalis Loukanidis hit a great ball. After 56 minutes, Grigoris Gazis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pyrgi FC and the Klió FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Anthimos Fotakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanos Pantazoulis having to interfere. If Fragiskos Paramithis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christos Zinas in the 71st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanos Pantazoulis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 74th match minute, Pyrgi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nektarios Lilis to maneuver through the defense. Thanos Pantazoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Kagiorgis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the match, Klió FC's goalkeeper Michalis Katevatis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panos Pavlatos. Panos Pavlatos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Michalis Katevatis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Fragiskos Paramithis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanos Pantazoulis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christos Zinas in the 89th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Anthimos Fotakoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot. Klió FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anthimos Fotakoglou was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanos Pantazoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Christos Gavriilidis kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Klió FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pyrgi FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
