Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Panagiotis Kantilas started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 6 minutes, Charalambos Karasavvidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Belokomitis and the Klió FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Charalambos Karasavvidis hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Klió FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 14th minute, when Panagiotis Kantilas scored to the left of an out of position Michalis Katevatis, making the score, 1-1. 21 minutes into the game, Stamatis Kommatos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Belokomitis's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Klió FC the free kick. After 21 played minutes Belokomitis got a freekick which was hit by Stamatis Kommatos. When Panagiotis Kantilas came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Belokomitis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panagiotis Kantilas couldn't finish the play. Loukianos Tabakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Katevatis having to interfere. Klió FC's Michalis Katevatis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Panagiotis Kantilas in the 34th minute of play. In the 35th minute Panagiotis Kantilas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michalis Katevatis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Panagiotis Kantilas in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Michalis Katevatis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Klió FC's zone, Loukianos Tabakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michalis Katevatis came out of the goal and Loukianos Tabakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Michalis Katevatis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Kantilas in the 47th minute of the match. Loukianos Tabakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Katevatis having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christos Zinas to make the kick off. When Panagiotis Kantilas came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Belokomitis fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panagiotis Kantilas couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, Loukianos Tabakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Panagiotis Kantilas in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Michalis Katevatis saved Klió FC from getting behind. Akis Partaolas made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Anthimos Fotakoglou sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Klió FC defense, Panagiotis Kantilas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Michalis Katevatis. The Klió FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Michalis Katevatis should have stopped the shot. Michalis Katevatis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Loukianos Tabakis's shot from short distance in the 76th minute. Kostas Kagiorgis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 79th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Akis Partaolas. Belokomitis's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Anthimos Fotakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loukianos Tabakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christos Zinas in the 89th minute of play forced Belokomitis's goalkeeper Akis Partaolas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anthimos Fotakoglou's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Akis Partaolas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 90th minute of play. If Loukianos Tabakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stamatis Kommatos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michalis Katevatis having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Klió FC's zone, Loukianos Tabakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Michalis Katevatis came out of the goal and Loukianos Tabakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Belokomitis had played much better football throughout.
