Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Belokomitis's Panagiotis Kantilas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Belokomitis's Babbis Koutsospyros got a free kick in the 4th minute. Panos Pavlatos scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Akis Partaolas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Loukianos Tabakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Thanos Pantazoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Pyrgi FC booed when Belokomitis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stamatis Kommatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 minutes, Panos Pavlatos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pyrgi FC and the Belokomitis players grew even worse after the yellow card. Panos Pavlatos hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Panagiotis Kantilas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Akis Partaolas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Panos Pavlatos, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Panos Pavlatos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Akis Partaolas having to make a save. When Christos Gavriilidis fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pyrgi FC's protests and gave Christos Gavriilidis a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes Pyrgi FC got a freekick which was hit by Christos Gavriilidis. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Panagiotis Kantilas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Belokomitis's supporters rose to their feet, but Panagiotis Kantilas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thanos Pantazoulis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanos Pantazoulis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Kantilas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Loukianos Tabakis got free with Thanos Pantazoulis in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panagiotis Kantilas might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thanos Pantazoulis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Panagiotis Kantilas ran back to his position shaking his head.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fragiskos Paramithis to make the kick off. Panos Pavlatos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Akis Partaolas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aggelos Daras's late challenge caught a Pyrgi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aggelos Daras helped the player get up and apologised. In the 53rd minute, Aggelos Daras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stamatis Kommatos got his second yellow card in the match during the 58th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Belokomitis getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Stamatis Kommatos hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Loukianos Tabakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Loukianos Tabakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Belokomitis's Iosif Salmatanis got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Loukianos Tabakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Belokomitis defense, Panos Pavlatos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Akis Partaolas. The Belokomitis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Akis Partaolas should have stopped the shot. Pyrgi FC's Thanos Pantazoulis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Tabakis in the 78th minute of play. Thanos Pantazoulis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Loukianos Tabakis, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Thanos Pantazoulis came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Belokomitis's Loukianos Tabakis. But to his dismay, Loukianos Tabakis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 95th minute, Christos Gavriilidis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Belokomitis manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Pyrgi FC to win.
