Savas Tsiamakis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Paris Karipidis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giorgos Zafiriou. The goal made the score 1-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Markos Kalamarakis in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Savas Tsiamakis saved Ao Thrakis from getting behind. Savas Tsiamakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markos Kalamarakis in the 10th minute of play. Savas Tsiamakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Kaplanopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, ARIS's Alexis Kaplanopoulos got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ao Thrakis's zone, Markos Kalamarakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Savas Tsiamakis came out of the goal and Markos Kalamarakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Alexis Kaplanopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28thth minute of the game Alexis Kaplanopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ao Thrakis's Savas Tsiamakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Markos Kalamarakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Markos Kalamarakis's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Savas Tsiamakis was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. After having played for 32 minutes, Alexis Kaplanopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ARIS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexis Kaplanopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. ARIS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Paris Karipidis scored to the left of an out of position Giorgos Zafiriou, making the score, 2-0. In the 38thth minute of the game Markos Kalamarakis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ao Thrakis's Savas Tsiamakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Ao Thrakis booed when ARIS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexis Kaplanopoulos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Giorgos Zafiriou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paris Karabidakis in the 42nd minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Ao Thrakis's goal looked a bit too open when Alexis Kaplanopoulos came free, but Savas Tsiamakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Savas Tsiamakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Kaplanopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Stathis Prionas made the kick off in the second half. Savas Tsiamakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sotos Matsas in the 51st minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Markos Kalamarakis made a precise shot to the right of Savas Tsiamakis. Ao Thrakis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. ARIS made a substitution. Avraam Katergiannakis replaced Bonifacio Che. Savas Tsiamakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Kaplanopoulos in the 65th minute of play. If Paris Karabidakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Markos Kalamarakis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexis Kaplanopoulos struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Savas Tsiamakis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ARIS. In the 86th minute, Sotos Matsas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of ARIS booed when Ao Thrakis was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Babbis Papageorgatos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Markos Kalamarakis who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Savas Tsiamakis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
