Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fondas Kostarakis started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Spyros Maropoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fondas Kostarakis was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 8th minute. Khαrkia FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Geroplαtanos's Sotos Kafropoulos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Geroplαtanos from getting a goal against them. Sotos Kafropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fondas Kostarakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sotos Kafropoulos made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Ignatios Garpozis sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Khαrkia FC booed when Geroplαtanos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniil Tsirilidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Khαrkia FC's Ignatios Garpozis slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sotos Kafropoulos. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Sotos Kafropoulos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ignatios Garpozis in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Christoforos Zolotas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Geroplαtanos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Khαrkia FC the free kick. In the 25th match minute, Geroplαtanos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoforos Zolotas to maneuver through the defense. Achilleas Skatzos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Eustratios Mavrogenidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Koulis Tzanakakis during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Khαrkia FC's Koulis Tzanakakis got a free kick in the 32nd minute. If Ignatios Garpozis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpected shot in the 40th minute by Ignatios Garpozis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fondas Kostarakis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Sotos Kafropoulos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Aggelos Katsavos came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Khαrkia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aggelos Katsavos couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Achilleas Skatzos to make the kick off. After having played for 54 minutes, Ignatios Garpozis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Khαrkia FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ignatios Garpozis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 56th minute, Ignatios Garpozis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Fondas Kostarakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khαrkia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fondas Kostarakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sotos Kafropoulos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fondas Kostarakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Fondas Kostarakis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Khαrkia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fondas Kostarakis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fondas Kostarakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sotos Kafropoulos having to interfere. A collision led to Khαrkia FC getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Ignatios Garpozis hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Theocharis Thomiou got free with Eustratios Mavrogenidis in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Geroplαtanos booed when Khαrkia FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Odysseas Skopidis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Achilleas Skatzos came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Geroplαtanos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achilleas Skatzos couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fondas Kostarakis in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sotos Kafropoulos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Ignatios Garpozis came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Khαrkia FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ignatios Garpozis couldn't finish the play.
