Ermis Stagos made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Veniamin Panteliadis sent off a good shot on target. 5 minutes into the match, aek arxaias korinthou's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitris Tsinaris came free, but Ermis Stagos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in aek arxaias korinthou's zone, Veniamin Panteliadis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermis Stagos came out of the goal and Veniamin Panteliadis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Fragiskos Portoulidis sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and aek arxaias korinthou's Ermis Stagos didn't even have to move. Antonis Anastasopoulos hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. aek arxaias korinthou's Ermis Stagos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitris Tsinaris in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, aek arxaias korinthou's Ermis Stagos got control of the ball when Aimilios Kilaidonis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ermis Stagos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonis Anastasopoulos in the 24th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Tilemachos Manolas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aimilios Kilaidoniss short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Ermis Stagos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ermis Stagos was a little too slow when Dimitris Tsinaris got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 1-0. If Aimilios Kilaidonis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vitsa's Periklis Tsatsos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nikos Dimitrakos in the 46th minute of play. After 47 played minutes aek arxaias korinthou got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Anestis. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Alexis Anestis made the kick off in the second half. Dimitris Tsinaris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermis Stagos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Tsinaris in the 60th minute of play forced aek arxaias korinthou's goalkeeper Ermis Stagos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Aimilios Kilaidonis put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ermis Stagos. Dimitris Tsinaris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 66 minutes, Aimilios Kilaidonis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vitsa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aimilios Kilaidonis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermis Stagos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dimitris Tsinaris went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Ermis Stagos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aimilios Kilaidonis's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimitris Tsinaris in the 77th minute of play forced aek arxaias korinthou's goalkeeper Ermis Stagos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Dimitris Tsinaris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ermis Stagos was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Ermis Stagos didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aimilios Kilaidonis went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. Aimilios Kilaidonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aimilios Kilaidonis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermis Stagos having to interfere. Ermis Stagos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimitris Tsinaris in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 96th minute of the match Kleon Athanasopoulos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ermis Stagos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the referee ended the match the Vitsa players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
