Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alketas Prezerakos kicked off to start the match. Oxford University's Valentinos Kyriakakoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alketas Prezerakos in the 8th minute of play. Valentinos Kyriakakoglou showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alketas Prezerakos in the 10th minute of the match. Alketas Prezerakos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Thanasis Pentasferos in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Valentinos Kyriakakoglou saved Oxford University from getting behind. Oxford University's Valentinos Kyriakakoglou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valerios Kastanis in the 21st minute of play. Thanasis Pentasferos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31st minute, Fanis Froussos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Oxford University defense, Alketas Prezerakos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Valentinos Kyriakakoglou. The Oxford University fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Valentinos Kyriakakoglou should have stopped the shot. Thanasis Pentasferos might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valentinos Kyriakakoglou. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanasis Pentasferos ran back to his position shaking his head. Valentinos Kyriakakoglou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vassilis Pirovolakis's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Valentinos Kyriakakoglou took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evripidis Poupalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, Oxford University's goal looked a bit too open when Thanasis Pentasferos came free, but Valentinos Kyriakakoglou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Stelios Kapogiannopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Oxford University's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mastrogiαnnion BC the free kick. After 47 played minutes Oxford University got a freekick which was hit by Stelios Kapogiannopoulos. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Giorgos Zoras to make the kick off. Thanasis Pentasferos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Valentinos Kyriakakoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes in the game, Alketas Prezerakos fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Valentinos Kyriakakoglou having to interfere. In the 66th minute, Thanasis Pentasferos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Thanasis Pentasferos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 72 minutes into the match, Oxford University's goalkeeper Valentinos Kyriakakoglou had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thanasis Pentasferos. The crowd rose to their feet as Thanasis Pentasferos kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Valentinos Kyriakakoglou. That made the score 0-2 in the 75 minute of play. Alketas Prezerakos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Valentinos Kyriakakoglou tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Oxford University's Valentinos Kyriakakoglou got control of the ball when Thanasis Pentasferos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 84thth minute of the game Alketas Prezerakos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oxford University's Valentinos Kyriakakoglou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanasis Pentasferos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 played minutes Oxford University got a freekick which was hit by Giorgos Zoras. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Oxford University's goalkeeper Valentinos Kyriakakoglou, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
