Christos Marmatakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Péta's Christos Marmatakis came free and shot a quick shot against goal 33 minutes in the game, fortunately Savas Sapounas had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Savas Sapounas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miltos Lioutas, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Miltos Lioutas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Savas Sapounas having to interfere. The supporters of Péta booed when Yerakianα was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louis Stratigos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orestis Katsakos to make the kick off. Savas Sapounas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Marmatakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 58 minutes, Christos Marmatakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Péta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christos Marmatakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61st minute, Orestis Katsakos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Manos Kourmentalas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Stratos Tsatsarelis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. Savas Sapounas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miltos Lioutas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manos Kourmentalas got free with Stratos Tsatsarelis in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 77 minutes into the match, Yerakianα's goal looked a bit too open when Christos Marmatakis came free, but Savas Sapounas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yerakianα's Savas Sapounas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miltos Lioutas in the 84th minute of play. The Péta supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Yerakianα's performance. The match ended with a win for Yerakianα.
