Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paschalis Chroniou to make the kick off. After 54 minutes Mandαlovon FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Themis Kolotoubis who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Themis Kolotoubis got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Iason Giannikos quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Babbis Perakakiss short, quick shot in the 60thth minute got Dimosthenis Louverdis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After having played for 62 minutes, Babbis Perakakis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mandαlovon FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Babbis Perakakis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dimosthenis Louverdis made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Babbis Perakakis sent off a good shot on target. Theocharis Nikolopoulos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Dimosthenis Louverdis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the game, Stefanos Stefanis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Merkada2019's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mandαlovon FC the free kick. Stefanos Stefanis hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Iason Giannikos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paschalis Chroniou in the 80th minute of the match. When Paschalis Chroniou, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 88 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Iason Giannikos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Merkada2019's Paschalis Chroniou got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paschalis Chroniou struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Iason Giannikos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Merkada2019. Mandαlovon FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
