The tension between the Young Gunners and the PTEROUNTA LESVOU players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alkinoos Papanikolaou, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Young Gunners's goal looked a bit too open when Stratos Tselekis came free, but Thanos Christidis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Young Gunners's Aris Natsikas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Aris Natsikas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Young Gunners protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Aris Natsikas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 7 minutes into the game, one of Young Gunners:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for PTEROUNTA LESVOU. Alkinoos Papanikolaou stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Thanos Christidis. 0-1. Aggelos Sotiropoulos made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Kostas Mavreas sent off a good shot on target. If Omiros Giannopoulatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Christos Strimmenos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Stratos Tselekis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanos Christidis having to interfere. When Gerasimos Mitseas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the PTEROUNTA LESVOU fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerasimos Mitseas couldn't finish the play. If Omiros Giannopoulatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Omiros Giannopoulatos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PTEROUNTA LESVOU fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Kostas Mavreas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aggelos Sotiropoulos having to interfere. Giannis Samaratos's late challenge caught a Young Gunners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giannis Samaratos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, PTEROUNTA LESVOU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giannis Samaratos to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kostas Mavreas to strike the kick off in the second half. Young Gunners's Thanos Christidis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giannis Samaratos in the 55th minute of play. If Omiros Giannopoulatos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aggelos Sotiropoulos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Mavreas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stratos Tselekis in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thanos Christidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 71 minutes into the game, Evaggelos Polichronos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Young Gunners's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PTEROUNTA LESVOU the free kick. In the 71st minute, Evaggelos Polichronos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Young Gunners's Kostas Mavreas in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PTEROUNTA LESVOU's goalie prevented a goal. Thanos Christidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omiros Giannopoulatos in the 82nd minute.
