Dimos Plitsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Valsamidis in the 13th minute of the match. In the 19thth minute of the game Nikos Zachopoulos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Olympiakos S.F. Pagou's Dimos Plitsis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Taxiαrchis booed when Olympiakos S.F. Pagou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paschalis Xilas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dimos Plitsis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Panagiotis Valsamidis in the 22nd minute of the match. Panagiotis Valsamidis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Dimos Plitsis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dimos Plitsis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nikos Zachopoulos, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Nikos Zachopoulos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dimos Plitsis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panagiotis Valsamidis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Panagiotis Valsamidis struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Dimos Plitsis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taxiαrchis. After having played for 37 minutes, Nikos Zachopoulos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taxiαrchis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nikos Zachopoulos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Olympiakos S.F. Pagou defense, Panagiotis Valsamidis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimos Plitsis. The Olympiakos S.F. Pagou fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimos Plitsis should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Panagiotis Valsamidis was the one to do the kick off. If Panagiotis Valsamidis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dimos Plitsis came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Taxiαrchis's Theofanis Sagriotis. But to his dismay, Theofanis Sagriotis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Apostolikas Parasidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Akakios Petroulis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 65th minute, Panagiotis Valsamidis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Taxiαrchis's Panagiotis Valsamidis got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Apostolikas Parasidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Akakios Petroulis in the 74th minute of the match. The supporters of Taxiαrchis booed when Olympiakos S.F. Pagou was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimitris Papapetrou didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nikos Zachopoulos in the 78th minute of play forced Olympiakos S.F. Pagou's goalkeeper Dimos Plitsis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Panagiotis Valsamidis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimos Plitsis having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Olympiakos S.F. Pagou's Dimitris Papapetrou got a free kick in the 95th minute. The Olympiakos S.F. Pagou fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Taxiαrchis were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
