Eugenios Kotitsas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Renos Bakirtzis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Michalis Kerveros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 25th minute of the match Stefanos Lakiotis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Renos Bakirtzis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Savas Parginos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Konstantinos Kavalis was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Anaselνtsa's zone, Adamantios Tatsos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Konstantinos Kavalis came out of the goal and Adamantios Tatsos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Renos Bakirtzis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenios Kotitsas in the 39th minute of play. Thodoris Skiriotis hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Anaselνtsa's Konstantinos Kavalis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Savas Parginos in the 42nd minute of play. Savas Parginos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Savas Parginos to strike the kick off in the second half. Anaselνtsa's Michalis Kerveros got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenios Kotitsas in the 54th minute of play forced Pepσnidhes's goalkeeper Renos Bakirtzis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd match minute, Pepσnidhes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michalis Krasopoulos to maneuver through the defense.
