Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Stergios Papachronakis started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Flamouria BC's Miltiadis Karastathis got a free kick in the 7th minute. Christos Koufakis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Tzavelas having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Siraν's zone, Stergios Papachronakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanasis Tzavelas came out of the goal and Stergios Papachronakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Soulis Papaioannou might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giannis Thanoulis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Soulis Papaioannou ran back to his position shaking his head. Dorotheos Kelpekis's late challenge caught a Siraν's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dorotheos Kelpekis helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Siraν booed when Flamouria BC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorotheos Kelpekis didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Siraν's Lakis Argyros broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vlassis Kostis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Giannis Thanoulis firmly grabbed it by the left post. Vlassis Kostis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute, Miltiadis Karastathis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35thth minute of the game Soulis Papaioannou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flamouria BC's Giannis Thanoulis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 38 minutes, Vlassis Kostis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Siraν's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vlassis Kostis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Flamouria BC's Apostolos Papastratos got a free kick in the 39th minute. Giannis Thanoulis was a little too slow when Soulis Papaioannou got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Soulis Papaioannou to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Flamouria BC's goal looked a bit too open when Vlassis Kostis came free, but Giannis Thanoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Kostas Pirovolikos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Giannis Thanoulis came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Siraν's Soulis Papaioannou. But to his dismay, Soulis Papaioannou quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Thanasis Tzavelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stergios Papachronakis in the 76th minute of play. Stergios Papachronakis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Soulis Papaioannou received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Giannis Thanoulis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Vlassis Kostis came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Siraν fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vlassis Kostis couldn't finish the play. Stergios Papachronakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siraν were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Flamouria BC for a fine match.
