Vafiochorion FC's Nontas Xenidis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 3rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Dorotheos Dimatos but with some difficulty. After a rather tough play, Kédros's Theocharis Chatzidimitriou got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 7th minute, Giorgos Lazarakoglou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christos Sarafidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 12th match minute, Vafiochorion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Apostolis Stavrinoudakis to maneuver through the defense. Avraam Efthimidis kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 29th match minute, Vafiochorion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Makos to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Christos Sarafidis in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christos Stagias saved Vafiochorion FC from getting behind. Christos Sarafidis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Kédros's Loukas Rapanos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Christos Stagias made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Dorotheos Dimatos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Giorgos Lazarakoglou in the 43rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Orestis Metzelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dorotheos Dimatos having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giorgos Lazarakoglou in the 57th minute of play forced Kédros's goalkeeper Dorotheos Dimatos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Vafiochorion FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Christos Sarafidis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Kédros's Christos Sarafidis got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 77 minutes, Giorgos Lazarakoglou managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vafiochorion FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Giorgos Lazarakoglou was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 80th match minute, Vafiochorion FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nontas Xenidis to maneuver through the defense. Loukas Rapanos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Giorgos Lazarakoglou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giorgos Lazarakoglou in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorotheos Dimatos saved Kédros from getting behind. Kédros's Dorotheos Dimatos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Lazarakoglou in the 92nd minute of play. Kédros's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
