Aravissσs BC's Themos Papatsakalos got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Iakovos Tsoumadas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chatziioannou Iraklidis. Trasdhαni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iakovos Tsoumadas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Themos Papatsakalos in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chatziioannou Iraklidis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Panagiotis Tsakiridis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michalis Pavloulis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 19 minutes into the match, Aravissσs BC's goal looked a bit too open when Panagiotis Tsakiridis came free, but Kostas Kosmoulis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michalis Pavloulis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trasdhαni's Panagiotis Tsakiridis got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trasdhαni's Michalis Pavloulis got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stefanos Pithagoras's late challenge caught a Aravissσs BC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stefanos Pithagoras helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Trasdhαni getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Notis Karameris hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes Trasdhαni got a freekick which was hit by Stefanos Pithagoras. In the 39th minute of the match Chatziantoniou Georgakopoulos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Chatziioannou Iraklidis showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Aravissσs BC's Themos Papatsakalos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Chatziioannou Iraklidis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Chatziioannou Iraklidis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Themos Papatsakalos in the 44th minute of the match. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trasdhαni's goalkeeper Chatziioannou Iraklidis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Themos Papatsakalos was the one to do the kick off. Themos Papatsakalos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iakovos Tsoumadas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chatziioannou Iraklidis having to interfere. A hard shot 60 in the game by Themos Papatsakalos from a close distance when the talented Chatziioannou Iraklidis managed to make a qualified save. Trasdhαni's players were relieved. Kostas Kosmoulis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Michalis Pavloulis in the 69th minute of the match. When Themos Papatsakalos came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Aravissσs BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Themos Papatsakalos couldn't finish the play. Themos Papatsakalos struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Chatziioannou Iraklidis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Aravissσs BC. Michalis Pavloulis scored 1-1 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kostas Kosmoulis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 84 minutes into the game, Panos Papadis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Trasdhαni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aravissσs BC the free kick. A collision led to Trasdhαni getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Panos Papadis hit a great ball. When Panagiotis Tsakiridis fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trasdhαni's protests and gave Panagiotis Tsakiridis a yellow card for diving instead. Iakovos Tsoumadas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Chatziioannou Iraklidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
