The audience was convinced that Pantelis Verikokos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pavlos Katsigiannis was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. A collision led to Dhivarαta BC getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Tasos Zouboulakis hit a great ball. Pavlos Katsigiannis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Petros Saveris's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. In the 11thth minute of the game Petros Saveris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dhivarαta BC's Pavlos Katsigiannis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Tsirkoskila fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when Tsirkoskila's Petros Saveris looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Pantelis Verikokos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Zisis Papaggeloulis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pavlos Katsigiannis was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Zisis Papaggeloulis hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Tsirkoskila's Dimitris Papatsakalos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Tsirkoskila from getting a goal against them. Pavlos Katsigiannis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petros Saveris in the 35th minute of the match. Pavlos Katsigiannis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pantelis Verikokos's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. When Aggelos Koutras fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dhivarαta BC's protests and gave Aggelos Koutras a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Dhivarαta BC's Aggelos Koutras got a free kick in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Tsirkoskila's Petros Saveris sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pavlos Katsigiannis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Dhivarαta BC's zone, Petros Saveris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavlos Katsigiannis came out of the goal and Petros Saveris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half Tsirkoskila were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Petros Saveris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pavlos Katsigiannis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petros Saveris in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Dimitris Kaklamanakis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dhivarαta BC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tsirkoskila the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dhivarαta BC's Dimitris Kaklamanakis got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Tasos Zouboulakis kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With an all-out effort, Tsirkoskila's Pavlos Katsigiannis threw himself towards the right post 61 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Petros Saveris, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Pantelis Verikokos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 64 minutes into the match, Dhivarαta BC's goalkeeper Pavlos Katsigiannis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pantelis Verikokos. Pavlos Katsigiannis made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Pantelis Verikokos sent off a good shot on target. Tasos Zouboulakis hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tasos Lianis during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tasos Lianis kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Pantelis Verikokos notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Dhivarαta BC's Pavlos Katsigiannis. Pavlos Katsigiannis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Vaggelis Vallas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pantelis Verikokos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pavlos Katsigiannis having to interfere. Pavlos Katsigiannis was out of position in the 93 minute of play, and Petros Saveris capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Petros Saveris really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Tsirkoskila played a much better game than Dhivarαta BC and deserved their victory. The Dhivarαta BC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
